It is what it is

That may sound like an odd summary, but really, it is what it is. The beginning shows two 'guys' in a bar, with great music playing and an impressive bar setting. Then the punchline comes in 'the enormous black guy'. It's very expected and while the animation was fluid and the feel of the flash nice, it just didn't feel like a great flash, since the ending was pretty obvious the second the flash began.

heh, another phone call flash

For a flash that uses the 'angry telephone man' idea to work, two things have to be working in harmony: The sound quality and the jokes. The graphics could be better, but there is a background at least, even if the animation's minimal. Still, the sound quality was not very good, and it sounded like it was done through the phone, in a strange irony. The jokes I could understand through the static weren't that impressive either.

Different

This was definitely not what I expected. The premise was quite interesting, with Moses having to stop the KKK. A great idea, and good graphics at boot. Unfortunately, three things prevent this from being a really nice flash. First, no sound. Second, no backgrounds. Third, the text and scenes move by so fast that you barely have time to read what everyone is saying.

um, let's see..

Well, first off, you spelled "ad" wrong. Second, there was really nothing to it, just some moving text and a couple pictures. It wasn't something that particularly would want to make me see said event. Alas, I'm not even positive what the event was based on what was shown. On the plus side, and music was nice, and in a way it was enjoyable to watch even if there was little to it.

Dark

The flash was disturbing, I must say, in a way. The premise was pretty good, and the graphics, given when this was made, were good. A lot of violence is aways nice in these flashes, since it makes sense. Granted, there was a lot of text to read, when the stuff could have just as easily been voiced or animated out, which would have made this quite a good flash.

Clever

It wasn't much more than a loop, and it was relatively simple, yet I really enjoyed it. It was fun watching the apple hop through the rocks and bushes. Any symbolism for the cut-down tree stump, or is it just there for fun? The apple and sun were quite happy though, so in a way it made me happy. I wish there was more to look at though, that's something to improve upon in the next one.

Wow

That was, well.. very weird, no other word quite works for this flash. The story and everything was really good, and it was quite compelling to watch. For 2004 this was definitely great, and still is in terms of quality. It felt almost cultish in a way, and was rather interesting to see what was happening. I didn't understand the ending at all, so I'll just take your word that it's supposed to be the way it is.

hmm

I'm not really sure what to say. I mean TANKMEN 2 was such a great flash that I had real high hopes that this would be even better. Of course the graphics and animation are top-notch. However, this is primarily a humor-driven flash series, and it's definitely one that's better if you watch it a second or third time. My criticism is that I think it bounced between the two stories a little too quickly, the humor didn't settle in for me by the time things had already moved on. I like how everything fits in with the sequels at least though. Certainly not the best TANKMEN in the series IMO, but fans will of course love it. Keep it up though, you clearly have a huge following.

Pretty cool

Tough to say exactly what this flash warrants. On one hand the graphics were great, and it was a really enjoyable flash to watch. However, there was little in terms of the animation. It would make for a nice e-card though, sans Jimmy Stewart at the end. Granted, he was good in his own nice. It had a nice feel to it, but as a flash there's not much to say about it.

Awesome

Well, of course I'm going to find it awesome, this was made by The Swain after all. I loved the beginning with the layout of the terrain and the guys walking around. I was expecting some action to continue outside, but instead the flash stays in the Mastermind's lair, which is still cool. He's yelling at some guy, and the trapdoor trick is used, which was quite amusing. Gay man- I mean Gaylord comes in afterwards, and they have a nice talk, which was hilarious. The third part with the superhero-type guy was probably the best part, very enjoyable to watch. Overall, this is an improvement from the first one, since it was more varied, but there's really not much more to say since most of my compliments from the first one still stand.

The-Swain responds:

Sorry I missed your review, Wiz. Woulda responded ASAP if I'd seen yours, out of anyone's.

I'll be onto the fourth one not too long from now, and I hope you'll give the new Mastermind game a chance once I've gotten that all finished. MM4 seeks to combine the single-gag setup of MM1 with the multiple-facet dynamic of MM2. As for MM3...well, we'll let that remain its own thing.
