[College University pt 1]

Good start to great series

This flash was nicely made. The graphics and animation were good, as was the sound. Some of the animation looked a little choppy, and more frames could've been used. I liked the photos taken during the flash, as well as the bear at the end.

[Evolution of the Unicorn]

Wow, very surreal

I'm struggling with words in how to describe this. It was somewhere between good and awesome, powerful and very powerful, and somewhere between Van Gogh-esque and Fantasia. Granted, it wasn't as good as a Van Gogh painting, but the line structure between this and the famous castle painting are very similar. I'm not sure if the music fit, but it was definitely nice to hear when the unicorn was running. It was simple, yet very deep at the same time (I think deep was the word I was looking for earlier). I'm wondering though, was the end based off the Tristar productions unicorn at all? response appriciated.

[Chipmunks Gangsta Rap]

A 10-worthy flash done pretty much perfectly.

I'll be the first to admit that I generally don't like rap.
I was looking for something in this flash to call crap.
I really wanted to find something to bash.
So I kept watching this awesome flash.

I can't rap, but I know a good flash when I see it, and this was it. This was a pretty-much prefectly done flash. Dave look genuinely worried about the Chipmunks, the lyrics were awesome, and the animation, graphics, cameos, etc. were all in sync. Nothing was out of place or boring, and I really enjoyed watching it.

Awesome

The idea and the flash were so simple, yet it was put together so nicely. The log and tree branch were drawn nicely, and the green teeth make me chuckle. The bible was a perfect tool, as it makes the log look nieve. I like the branch's reaction as the log pulls out the bible. Everythiing, while simple, was well-timed and fun to watch.

Thsi flash was funny. I was starting to get a little confused when it said that it was Monday, but I kept watching it and eventually figured it out. This was definitely a classic. I think you overdid it a little bit with all the green in the flash, but maybe it's just me. The graphics and animation were nice, as were the voices. I could've listened to their odd conversations for hours.

[Super Duper Mario]

Nice little short

Granted, sprites are a litle overdone and the flash was prety short, but for 5 years ago, this flash isn't too bad compared to some of your other works from 2000. It at least looked realistic to the Mario world, and the sounds were authentic from it. That's what relaly makes a sprite flash decent. Bowser peeing himself was funny, but the flash felt kinda pointless. What happens after Bowser is stomped on? And where did the pit of lava go after the castle disappeared?

Meh

The graphics were nice, and the blood at the end was defintely realistic, especially with those brain bits. At the same time, the lack of a background and the pointlessness of the flash killed it. The guy was a little annoying, but at least you could understand him. A lot of work needs to be done on it, but it's a lot better than some of the stuff coming through the portal even today.

Nice. Very surreal.

This great surrealist feel to it. The flash mainly just showed the true end of the race rather than the whole thing, which I liked. I like how both characters were portrayed, and even though explosions are overdone, this one was portrayed perfectly, and appeared very realistic. I wouldn't mind seeing another one of these in 2006, though I'm not sure how you'd be able to improve on this other than add an extra part to it somewhere.

Smooth

Very enjoyable flash to watch. I loved the smoothness and the speed that the animation was going. The bunny was drawn oddly, but at the same time looked good. I like seeign flashes that are a lot of fps, and this one showed a good amount of potential. I'd say it was too short, but it really wasn't. Definitely one of the more random flashes I've seen recently.

Good for what it is

It was definitely short, as you said. The animation and graphics were good, even if they weren't up as long as I would've liked. Still, the flash got the point across. the sound was fun to listen to, and it was a refreshing change from most flashes in the portal.
