A little lacking, yet better than ever.
Took me long enough to get around to writing a review for this, huh? Anyway, I had to watch it a few time to see if it was worthy of a 9 or a 10, you'll see why.
First off, the new introduction is pretty cool, I must say, has a more detailed edge to it. Blockhead seems a lot better animated now, which is great. The backgrounds also look a lot better. They were great to begin with, but you're clearly taken the extra step in flash animation, which is great. The spit aerodynamics were done extremely well, though I'm guessing it's a hot day if it evaporated. (Yes, I pay attention to every little detail :P) The guy going no randomly was quite odd. And now, the cool ending to the intro, and now, the actual cartoon, oh boy!
I see the conscience got a makeover, quite nice. He looks a little neater, but angrier at the same time. Anyway, so Blockhead's about to watch a movie, though he can't get it in. when he does, we watch it. The teeth are very detailed (as expected from what was a "Teeth season 1" VHS) I must say I wasn't expecting him to do something like The Ring though, it made me expect a lot of hilarity. So, he's off on an adventure to do... something. Quite good so far, more fluid animation. Random Q #1: Any significance to the pineapple magnet on the fridge?
Haha, Blockhead's humor continues to be great, since he wants to see the "secrets" in the "house". He calls the girl, who's omgwatchingpicostimetankomg, and... how he talked into the phone then into a megaphone made no sense, but it was amusing so I'll let it slide. Blockhead's non-sequiturs are great, but I can tell that they are starting to run a little thin, it's getting a little harder for you in the humor department. It's great though, and I loved the "velocirapture" reference. After the second house, he goes to the third. I just noticed as well that the backgrounds are blurred, which is a nice touch. More randomness strikes, and it's over.
Well, I can certainly say I loved the flash. The humor seemed a little off compared to previous episodes, but at the same time the animation and story were so much more compelling that it more than cancelled out. Certainly you've improved in a lot of areas, though. No need to sweat any of the humor, of course, since as long as Blockhead's Blockhead he'll continue to be hilarious. Certainly a flash good enough for a 10 in my book. (No 4096 byte review, gotta save my energy for BH10)
