Awesome

Now all you need is daily 2nd place and you'll have all 5 ^_^.
Seriously though, you're great with animation and graphics. It wasn't quite as funny as I was expecting, but it was still cool. Loved the bus part, but the conscience-blockhead dialogue didn't feel right for some reason. Is it just me, or is the conscience loosely based off of Carl from Aqua Teen Hunger Force? or am I crazy?

The-Swain responds:

I do agree that not every episode can be a winner (though 5th place out of all the flashes submitted in one day is still an incredible thing to be awarded, even if i put twice as much work into this episode as Ep.4 :( so sad).

As for Karl, he was not the inspiration for the Conscience, but I do like hearing that comparison - Karl is an awesome, funny character, and I think it's great that my guy can be put on the same pedestal of judgement.

I promise that the next Blockhead release will blow the others away. That is my solemn vow. I am planning on a two-part, fifteen- to twenty-minute release that will be so totally absurd that maybe your head will explode, too. Count on it!

Lol, I like this blob.

These shorts are fun to watch. Only he would throw away blueberries while making a blueberry pie, heh. I like how everything seemed to have a blue tone, as well as how everything was animated. I like the high, fast voice of the blob, which is somewhat ironic since I usually hate that kind of voice on characters. I'd like to see more of these shorts though.

JonBro responds:

I bet he also throws away the lemons making lemonade.

Thanks!

Interesting

It's not easy to find a good flash short under 100kb, but this would be one of the few. This was a funny little piece of work. A blob becoming candy corn, then a candy cane is kinda weird, yet fun to watch. The graphics and sound were great, and I imagine a blob would sound the way he did in this flash.

JonBro responds:

I don't think a blob would have a deep voice. That would be more of a talking tree, or a talking refrigerator, or something like that.

Thanks!

Nice

You keep improving on your flash work, and that's just as important as whether a flash is good or not. The voices were quite a bit better. even though I have no idea what the green one said. That and you spelled "gotta" wrong. All nitpicking aside, the animation, style, everything was great. Also, when the sticks were actually shown face to face, they looked a lot better than the average sticks I see go through the portal ll the time. I'd like to see more of this series.

rz-stick responds:

wow, thanks a lot, you will trust me and i will try to improve at least 1 aspect per animation, the next one is the dynamics and how the characters move, i think people will like it, thanks again,

Pretty good

Unlike some of the other reviewers, I actually liked the bird's eye view of the sticks. It brought a lot more to the flash, and you can see a lot more of what's going on from that view. The shooting looked relatively nice, and the animation was pretty good. I wonder why he didn't shoot the one blue stick, but rather went around it. It was probably a good reason that's not supposed to be known. Anyway, I didn't like the voices all that much, and the backgrounds seemed rather boring with all the gray-ness.

rz-stick responds:

This was an early attempt, i wasn't very good at flash at the time and i was looking for something easy and simple. I have no idea why i added a stealth approach scene, it was probably a random thought after playing splinter cell or something.

Meh. not good, not bad either.

Well, I liked what you were doing with it, but the flash didn't seem to "work" in my opinion. The stick attacking the wall and yellign at it was clever, and I found it enjoyable. I'm not really a fan of "stick shorts", but the fact that there was only 1 stick in the flash actually makes it pretty unique and interesting.
Basically, I didn't care for it, but I'd like to see more.

rz-stick responds:

k, thanks

Nice

The sound was pretty good. Since it was the main part of the flash, I tried watching this flash both minimized and not minimized. The graphics and animation were awesome, but not too much was going on. The flash as a whole started feeling a little repetitive, but as I said before, the graphics and everything were top-notch.

PlasmicSteve responds:

Thanks for checking it out!

Better, yet worse.

The graphics were nice in this flash, and the animation was nice. I liked that you improved on the length of the flash and that you actually let some suspense generate before the explosion. The voice ended up being just Microsoft Sam and his cronies though, and there were no subtitles this time, and you probably could've used them in this one.

Decent for a first flash

My main problem with this flash is mostly the length. Like most clock flashes, the graphics were nice and the animation was good. Also like most clock flashes, it was pretty short and served little purpose. The explosion at the end and Benny Hill, overrated as he is, was still funny. The sound was a little bit different than the other clocks, which I liked.

BreadFruitLock responds:

Well...

It's not bad considering it's not finished and may or may not ever be finished. It felt kinda weird that it ended so soon with nothing really starting up though. The sprites were fairly well-animated and the backgrounds were nice, but that's about it.

Murray responds:

Heh heh, Clock Day flash, LOL. I know it ain't clock-ish at all. Just a flash I was working on until Clock Day came.
